Ingredients

2 slices
whole-wheat bread
1/4
avocado, sliced
2 oz
reduced-sodium deli-style turkey meat
2 slices
tomato (1 medium)
2 leaves of
small, tender Bibb or iceberg lettuce leaves, rinsed, drained, and dried

pear, thinly sliced with seeds removed
Directions
  1. Toast the bread.
  2. Build sandwich by smashing and spreading avocado on one slice of toast. Layer with turkey, tomato, lettuce, and slices of pear (to fit). Top with second slice of toast.
  3. Serve with remaining pear.
